• Board of Managers approves nearly $393K FY27 budget for Senior Center in Shelburne Falls (recorder.com) — Shelburne residents face a 3.5% increase in their FY27 assessment to support the West County Senior Center, which now uses a five-year usage average to divide costs among Ashfield, Buckland and Shelburne. The nearly $393,000 budget covers rising utilities, rent, insurance and staff raises, including a pay bump for Director Juli Moreno as she temporarily handles transportation duties. Town voters will see this funding request at spring Town Meeting.
