Car, Recycling Bins, Tires Stolen in Shrewsbury Police Incidents
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, April 16
1:52 p.m.: A caller from Arbor Drive reported attempted larceny of tires. The caller said it could have occurred a week ago.
5:41 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turnpike and arrested Rigoberto Vasquez-Mendoza, 17 of 50 Franklin St., Apt. 7T, Worcester. He faced warrant charges of operating with a suspended license and two moped violations.

7:19 p.m.: A caller from Latura Street reported that someone tried to break-in to their vehicle overnight.
11:20 p.m.: An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department took a report of a stolen vehicle from Commons Drive.

Wednesday, April 17
8:34 a.m.: A caller from Gulf Street reported stolen solar lights.
9:47 a.m.: An officer issued several warnings while conducting traffic enforcement on Grafton Street.
2:15 p.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with a brush fire on Howe Street.
6:30 p.m.: A caller from Millwood Drive reported they were locked out of their house. A locksmith arrived while police were present to let the drunk female back in to her house.
Thursday, April 18
10:25 a.m.: A caller from South Quinsigamond reported that a recycling bin had been stolen.
2:25 p.m.: The fire department investigated a report of smoking mulch near the Christmas Tree Shops on Boston Turnpike.
5:19 p.m.: An officer spoke with someone who had been reportedly throwing trash at children on Francis Avenue.
