First Ladies: What is Their Role?
From Ida McKinley to Michelle Obama, what are their lives like?

Although it's the president of the United States who runs for office, his wife also becomes a very public figure, often times, to her dismay. Many a first lady has shed a tear or two upon learning of her husband's election victory.
This show looks at the personal trials, triumphs and private details of our very public First Ladies. First Ladies Part II is from Ida McKinley to Michelle Obama.

Presenting will be Patricia Perry, a historical interpreter, a member of the National Association of Interpretation (NAI), a member of the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM), a Certified Interpretive Guide, and a Certified Host and Trainer (with NAI). She was formerly the chairperson for the Blackstone Valley Interpreter Network.
