Mailman Stops Shrewsbury House Fire: Report
A Shrewsbury mailman jumped into action to stop a house fire, and without his intervention the damage could have been worse.
SHREWSBURY, MA - A mailman in Shrewsbury stopped a house fire this morning before it could get any worse, according to WHDH.
He was on his mail route when he noticed a burning trash can next to a home. He was able to clear the barrel out of the way and dumped water onto the house. Without his intervention stopping the blaze, the Shrewsbury Fire Department said the family could have lost their home.
