I am a mom, a former Town of Shrewsbury Finance Committee Member as well as a long time Town Meeting Member who has learned about the essential needs in our Community. Approximately 6-7 years ago, my Finance Committee colleagues and I brought forth the concept of our community public safety as a critical, non-partisan, essential need for Shrewsbury. Our town has grown significantly, an estimated 300% since 1980. The need for both structural and infrastructure improvements are imperative to address the 50 year old undersized police station. Implementing technologies is foundational in order to have Emergency Communication Systems to address today’s modern and complex environment. The time is now for our community to have a police station that matches the requirements and needs of our community. It is also the most fiscally responsible time to take action as the financing rates are the lowest in our Shrewsbury history.
It is with great hope that you consider voting YES on 3 for our Public Safety.

With gratitude & unwavering support for YES on 3.
