Police Investigate Garden Vandalism, Stolen Ladder Rack

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, May 28

9:39 a.m.: A resident of Arbor Drive reported that the ladder rack had been stolen off their motor vehicle overnight.

10:19 a.m.: Officers arrested Nicholas P. Ferrante, 28, of 23 Grace Ave. on warrant charges of breaking and entering and receiving stolen property.

1:23 p.m.: A resident of South Quinsigamond reported that someone puller her flower from the ground.

2:40 p.m.: A caller reported a dead dog on Main Street. The Animal Control Officer responded and observed that it was a woodchuck not a dog.

4:33 p.m.: An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department stopped several vehicles on Boston Turnpike at Maple Avenue.

6:58 p.m.: One vehicle was towed after a three-car crash on Boston Turnpike.
