Wednesday, Jan. 9

8:31 a.m.: An officer monitored a bus stop on George Street.

8:50 a.m.: An officer responded with the Shrewsbury Fire Department to an alarm activation on Bowditch Drive. A forklift had hit an electrical box.

8:54 a.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Old Brook Road. The officer also checked the car seat in one of the cars.

9:00 a.m.: An officer spoke with a person who was collecting scrap metal on Grove Street.

10:55 a.m.: An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to a crash on North Quinsigamond. One vehicle was towed by AAA.

12:03 p.m.: A caller reported a male texting while driving on Main Street.

12:59 p.m.: An officer spoke to two teenagers on Venus Drive who had been reportedly looking in to garage windows.

1:59 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash in front of Shaws.

2:58 p.m.: A caller reported a hit and run on Hartford Turnpike.

4:13 p.m.: A caller from Grove Street reported a missing chocolate lab named Brewer.

5:14 p.m.: A panhandler was moved along from the parking lot at Five Guys.

5:23 p.m.: An officer helped the fire department extinguish a grease fire on Floral Street.

8:16 p.m.: An officer removed a mattress from the travel lane of Boston Turnpike near South Street.

Thursday, Jan. 10

2:03 a.m.: An officer removed a mattress from the roadway of Route 9 near Commons Road.
