Police Log: Underage Drinking, Drug Conspiracy
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 31
10:04 a.m.: A caller from White City Chopping Center reported a past break-in.
12:23 p.m.: A detective from the Shrewsbury Police Department reported a crash at the intersection of South Quinsigamond and Pleasant Street. One vehicle was towed and one person refused medical treatment.

12:32 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer responded to Berkshire Road for a white dove.
12:41 p.m.: A caller from Main Street had an allergic reaction to a MMR vaccine.

4:09 p.m.: A criminal citation was issued to a driver that fled a crash on South Street.
4:23 p.m.: Officers found an abandoned vehicle on North Quinsigamond that had been involved in a crash. An officer was able to make contact with the vehicle owner.
5:54 p.m.: Cristiano Nunes-Silva, 35, of 54 August St., Worcester was arrested after a traffic stop on Boston Turnpike. Nunes-Silva was charged with drunken-driving, possession of an open container and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
8:58 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on South Street after he observed it “acting suspiciously” and speeding. Zachary B. Burnham, 20, of 552 Main St., Brandon E. Lewis, 17, of 15 Gordon Rd., and a juvenile from Shrewsbury were arrested with Azure L. Jarrett, 18, of 77 Berlin St., Auburn and Elizabeth Kowalik, 17, of 10 Baker Rd., Westborough. All five people were charged with possession of liquor by a person under 21. Burnham was also charged with speeding.
11:46 p.m.: An officer responded to Elm Street for a 911 hang-up. Officers responded and spoke to the homeowner who said there were unwanted males there. One juvenile was picked up by a parent and taken to the hospital for a shoulder dislocation.
Tuesday, Jan. 1
12:09 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a fight on Arbor Drive. The Westborough Police Department was advised that there was probable cause for one male’s arrest.
Continuing: Officers issued several parking citations around town.
4:23 a.m.: Officers responded after a 911 hang-up from Arbor Drive. Kyle Thomas, 53, of 33 Samuel Dr., Grafton was arrested. Thomas was charged with assault and battery, felony breaking and entering during the night and disturbing the peace.
12:26 p.m.: A male and female were removed from a room at the Worcester City Motel after they refused to leave.
3:38 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Maple Avenue at Oak Street and arrested Liam Prifti, 18, of 158 Boylston St. along with two juveniles. All three were charged with failure to wear a seatbelt, possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.
6:43 p.m.: David Hersh, 48, of 58 Darrows St., Worcester was arrested on domestic charges for an outside agency.
6:57 p.m.: Stanley C. Scheier, 81, of 35 Julio Dr., Apt. 323 was arrested on domestic charges for an outside agency.
8:30 p.m.: Officers responded to Dunkin Donuts on Route 9 and arrested Arnold Emory, 54, of 421 North Main St., Leeds. Emory was charged with possession of an open container.
9:55 p.m.: An officer stopped a suspicious vehicle on Sheridan Drive and John P. Lynch, 19, of 16 Neptune Dr., and Andrew M. Jennison, 18, of 4 Harvest Rd., were arrested. Both males were charged with possession of liquor by a person under 21 and drinking alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle.
