Shrewsbury Accepting Bids For Contract Work At Cemetery

SHREWSBURY, MA - Shrewsbury is inviting bids for lawn mowing and grounds keeping services at the Mountain View Cemetery & Town Center.

Local contractors need not wonder when their next new opportunity might come in, as Shrewsbury is accepting bids for services at the town’s cemetery. Interested parties can find the invitation and related documents at this link here and in the town manager’s office at 100 Maple Ave.

The contact is a three-year period with the following timeframes:

• Year one will run from April 15 through Dec. 2.
• Year two covers April 14, 2026 through Dec. 1 2026.
• Year three commences on April 15, 2027 and ends on Dec. 2 2027.

The town manager’s office will accept bids until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29. They must be sealed and marked “Lawn Mowing & Grounds Keeping - Cemetery & Town Center” with the contractor’s name and address clearly marked.
