SHREWSBURY, MA — President Trump's loss in Massachusetts on Tuesday was expected in the perennially deep blue state, but how did he fare among Shrewsbury residents this time around?
Support for Trump increased in 2020 compared to 2016. Results from the 2016 election show Trump received 6,808 votes, compared to 7,004 this year. Hillary Clinton received 10,620 votes in Shrewsbury in 2016, while Joe Biden earned 13,325.
Voter turnout was the same this year as in 2016 with 81 percent of registered voters casting ballots.
