Shrewsbury Market Basket Opening: Store Starts Search For Employees
The new Route 20 Market Basket store will be the local chain's newest, and the closest location to Worcester.
SHREWSBURY, MA — The new Market Basket store in Shrewsbury is very close to opening.
The beloved Tewksbury-based chain began hiring for the new Route 20 store Wednesday. The store will host on-site interviews daily (except Sunday) at the new store between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Shrewsbury Market Basket will anchor the new Edgemere Crossing development, which will also include 250 units of housing, a Starbucks and a bank. The development is located at 200 Hartford Turnpike.
