Shrewsbury PD Receives Safety Grant From State
The program helps local police departments improve traffic safety and prevent accidents.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury Police Department was awarded a grant from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, according to Rep. Hannah Kane.
Shrewsbury police were awarded $38,000 from the Municipal Road Safety Program, according to Rep. Kane. The program helps local police departments improve traffic safety and prevent accidents and injuries on the road.
The police department was granted the same award in 2023, which they said would be used in traffic campaigns throughout that year.
