Shrewsbury Residents May See Discolored Water

Due to repairs on a nearby well, residents of Shrewsbury around the Edgemere and Route 20 area may experience discolored water.

SHREWSBURY, MA - Due to a water interconnection with Worcester, there is a chance Sudbury residents in the Edgemere and Route 20 area may see their water discolored.

The Water and Sewer Division is currently completing repairs on one of its wells, and the advisory is expected to stay in place for about a week.

“If you experience discolored water, please run cold water in an outside faucet or downstairs bathtub,” the release said.
