T-Hawks Fall to Wachusett in Semifinal Matchup

The Algonquin Regional High School girls basketball team fell 34-31 to Wachusett on Tuesday at Clark University.

After trailing through the second half, the T-Hawks looked like they make a spectacular comeback when they narrowed the deficit to three with seconds remaining. 

A missed Algonquin three sealed the victory for Wachusett, who will advance to the division championship. 

"They were a really good team and we just had too many missed opportunities," coach Ron Jones said after the game.
