Traffic Stop In Shrewsbury Yields Gun, Fentanyl: Police
A Shrewsbury officer pulled a driver over in a neighborhood south of Route 20 after noticing equipment violations.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A Rochdale man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop this week in the south end of Shrewsbury.
An officer pulled the 38-year-old over around 8:30 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Brook and South Street south of Route 20. The stop was due to "multiple equipment violations," police said.
According to police, the man had drugs in plain view, and so police searched the man and his car. They found suspected fentanyl and a .38 caliber revolver, although the man didn't have a license to possess it.
