• Franklin County Career & Technical Institute celebrates 37 adult grads (recorder.com) — Two Shutesbury residents, Jennifer Conrad and David Devine II, are among 37 adults who just completed free, grant-funded trades training at Franklin County Technical School. They and their classmates spent 12 weeks in intensive evening programs in electrical work, welding, automotive technology, and building maintenance, gaining skills that are already leading to new jobs across the region. 
• Though disbanded after 42 years, Pelham Lions Club's work lives on through Sidney F. Smith Toy Fund (gazettenet.com) — Shutesbury families with children ages 1 to 14 can qualify for $65 toy vouchers through the long-running Sidney F. Smith Toy Fund, which serves select Hampshire and southern Franklin County towns. The story highlights how Pelham’s now-disbanded Lions Club helped sustain the fund, supporting low-income families and local youth opportunities across the region.
