Alcohol Cited in Somerville Rollover Crash
Somerville Police say an unlicensed man was under the influence of alcohol when he flipped his car over on Cross Street.

Somerville Police say an unlicensed Framingham man was under the influence of alcohol when he flipped his car over on Cross Street last week.
Police arrested Ramon Decarvalho after a drunken rollover crash on Cross Street near Randolph Place. Decarvalho was charged with driving while under the influence and driving without a license.
On Sept. 17, police responded to a reported a crash around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, police found a car flipped over on its roof in the middle of the roadway. Police learned Decarvalho had struck a parked truck, resulting in the rollover.

Decarvalho admitted to having two drinks. Police say he smelled of alcohol and was slurring his speech when talking to officers at the scene.
