SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Police Department received the following reports between Wednesday, March 12 and Sunday, March 16.

Wednesday, March 12

12:50 p.m. — The police received a report of a past assault in which a woman reported she was assaulted by a coworker during an argument.

Thursday, March 13

8:59 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Concord Avenue. A resident reported that his bicycle and electric scooter were stolen from the basement area.

Friday, March 14

4:16 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering on Elm Street. A woman reports a man broke into her residence while she was in the shower. He fled after she screamed at him. Officers soon found the man at a nearby business and arrested him.

Saturday, March 15

6:11 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Broadway where a woman claimed multiple documents were stolen from her apartment.

Sunday, March 16

3:38 p.m. — Police responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of 771 McGrath Highway. Five shell casings were located on Blakeley Avenue. Officers soon located and arrested a person matching witness description and carrying a handgun in his backpack.
