Bulger's Outburst at Trial
A former FBI supervisor in Boston casts light on the relationship between Bulger and the federal agency.

Gangster James "Whitey" Bulger was scolded in court Thursday for calling a witness "a [expletive] liar."
According to BostonHerald.com, Bulger didn't deny making the comment, which he directed at former FBI agent John Morris.
Morris was a supervisor in the organized crime unit in the FBI's Boston office who has admitted to accepting $7,000 bribes from Bulger, according to Boston.com.
He supervised John Connolly, the corrupt FBI agent who recruited Bulger as an informant but also, according to Morris, tipped Bulger off about other informants, leading Bulger to murder those people, Boston.com says.
Bulger's lawyers say the gangster was never an informant and have argued that Connolly filled Bulger's FBI file with false information.
Thursday wasn't the first time Bulger's cursed at Morris. WBUR tells the story of Morris' relationship with Bulger, including a phone call Morris received in 1995, when Bulger was already in hiding, from a "Mr. White" that seemingly sent Morris, later that night, into cardiac arrest.
Bulger's defense team spent Friday morning cross-examining Morris, questioning his credibility as a witness.
