East Somerville Foodie Crawl Returns Tuesday

The cultural crawl will run through the East Somerville restaurant corridor. More than 15 eateries will partake in the event.

The East Somerville Main Streets annual Foodie Crawl will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The cultural crawl will run through the East Somerville restaurant corridor. Authentic eateries will take participants straight to the sights and smells of Ethiopia, the tastes of El Salvador and the colors of Haiti.

With just one ticket, participants will get one bracelet that allows you to sample some of East Somerville’s best restaurants.

All profits support East Somerville Main Streets, a non-profit organization dedicated to building a vibrant neighborhood through a thriving business district to improve the quality of people’s lives.

Check-in for the Foodie Crawl will begin at 5:45 p.m. at the Mudflat on 81 Broadway on at Louie’s Ice Cream at 193 Broadway. All participants will be given a bracelet and guidebook.

The Foodie Crawl will run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. More than 15 restaurants from an array of ethnic backgrounds will be partaking in the event. A vegetarian tasting will be offered at each venue.
