1) TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship Program
The deadline to apply for the Citizens Bank TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship Program, which will give out $50,000 in scholarships to students, is April 19. Learn more at citizensbank.com/scholarship.
2) Homework Help for Teens: English and History
Teens can get help with their English and history homework today at 4:30 p.m. at the Somerville Public Library.
3) Youth of the Year
Kemissa Osit, 12, of Somerville has been selected to compete in the Boys & Girls Club of Middlesex County Youth of the Year program, according to an announcement from the Boys & Girls Club. She'll compete against other Youth of the Year winners from other towns in Middlesex, and if she wins she'll be the Youth of the Year spokesperson for the county. Tenzin Jinpa, 10, was another candidate for Somerville's Youth of the Year, according to the announcement. Congratulations.
