1) Summer Radio Mystery Theatre: The Sign of Four
A Sherlock Holmes story told, according to the listing, "in the style of the Golden Age of Radio, with actors in front of mics and live foley sound effects performed on stage." It's at 8 p.m. at 52 Russell St.

2) Poetry Manuscript Workshop
This workshop begins today and runs through Aug. 14. It's at 4 p.m. at The Center for Arts at the Armory.

3) Wambura Mitaru Synergy
Kenyan vocalist Wambura Mitaru, South African guitarist Sebastian Reunert and Egyptian percussionist Moez Dawad perform a free live concert in Kendall Square. The concert is from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 300 Athenaeum Street, Cambridge. 

4) Acting Clases: Scene Study
This six-week series of classes begins today at 7 p.m. at 259 Elm St.
