The Somerville Highlanders dropped their third straight game on Friday night as the North Reading Hornets cruised to a 21-point victory. Defensive play continues to plague the Highlanders. Through three games, Somerville has allowed 105 points. On Friday, the Hornets racked up 34 points. The Highlanders could only muster up 13 points. They fell to 0-3 on the season in defeat.North Reading improved to 3-0 with the win in front of their hometown fans.Somerville will look to bounce back on Friday, Oct. 2, in a game against Malden.
