Independent Film Festival Opening Night Party

The Independent Film Festival Boston kicks off Wednesday night with an opening night party in Davis Square.

There are other parties taking place in Someville throughout the festival. If you want to mingle with filmmakers and other film enthusiasts, you're spoiled for choice.

That said, partygoers need a "chrome pass" to join the festivities.

Weekend Kickoff Party

• Friday, 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Davis Square Theatre

Saturday Night Party

• Saturday, 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Sabur

Awards Party

• Sunday, 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Emerald Lounge, Revere Hotel, 200 Stuart St., Boston

Closing Night Party
