Somerville Police Mourn Death Of Officer Randy Isaacs
Isaacs was a member of the department and community for 15 years.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Police Department is mourning the death of active duty Officer Randy Isaacs.
Isaacs was a member of the department and community for 15 years and is described as a “beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend."
"Officer Isaacs was an integral member of the Somerville Police Department, bringing laughter to everyone he interacted with,” the department said in a statement.

Isaacs also served in the Army National Guard for 24 years, earning the rank of Master Sergeant of the 26th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. During his service, he was deployed to Kosovo and Afghanistan.
"Officer Isaacs is a true American Hero, who dedicated his life to service,” the department said.

The cause of Isaacs’ death has not been released.
