The Somerville Highlanders football team fell to 0-2 on the season following their blowout loss to Peabody on Friday night.

The Highlanders invaded Peabody looking to avenge their 46-40 loss to Greater Lawrence Tech on opening night. Instead, they were crushed in all three phases of the game, losing 35-0.

Somerville’s offense regressed greatly after showcasing tremendous firepower in their opener. Peabody marched up and down the field at will, while the Highlanders failed to respond.
