Boston Housing Authority To Heighten Coronavirus Safety Protocols, Limit In-Person Appointments
Community rooms are closed and in-person public events are postponed through the month of January.

In order to encourage health and safety in our communities and address recent staff shortages, the Boston Housing Authority is restricting walk-in visits at its 56 Chauncy St Housing Service Center and site management offices. The Housing Service Center which will be closed for at least this week. Community rooms are closed and in-person public events are postponed through the month of January.

Management office visits are available in person by appointment only. Residents are strongly encouraged to reach out by phone and email in order to limit in-person contact during the immediate term. All essential services including public safety, maintenance, and management will continue, and essential BHA staff will remain on-site.
These protocol changes are effective immediately, and BHA will continue to update them as the pandemic develops.
