The Boston Police Department warns community members against the use of synthetic marijuana. Synthetic marijuana is multiple times more potent than organic marijuana. In low doses, synthetics mimic the effects of organic marijuana and the symptoms displayed by users of each would likely be indiscernible. However, because of the potency of synthetic marijuana, the occurrence of an overdose is easier and more likely.
