Where/When: MIT Movies, Feb. 5-6
Why Go: The best deal in Boston-area moviegoing is buried on the MIT campus and this weekend they're showing "MegaMind" and "The A-Team." Those who love a discount will find the motivation and inspiration to get there.
Pricing: Tickets are $4 per person, and a wide selection of candy and popcorn is priced as low as 50 cents. Films are open to the general public, and more info can be found at http://lsc.mit.edu

Where/When: The Burrito Bowl at Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake Bar & Grill on Feb. 5 from 1-4 p.m.
Why Go: The Patriots didn't make it to the Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean this weekend won't see some fierce competition. This premiere event for any stuffed-tortilla connoisseur will feature chefs from Church, , and enough other dining establishments to crowd an end zone, each competing to bring their favorite NFL team some burrito glory.

Where/When:  Saturday, February 5 at 2 p.m. at the YMCA Greater Boston
Why Go: Lilly, the zany mouse-girl, "whirls through the lives of her friends Wilson and Chester, her new baby brother, and her teacher, Mr. Slinger, making friends, making up, and learning about feelings." Based on three of Kevin Henkes books, this show is perfect for youngesters and priced for the whole family. Pricing: General seating is $20.00

Why Go: Exquisite Soul Food, music and dance come together to celebrate Black History Month in Villa Victoria. In addition to various performances by outstanding youth and community groups, this exciting inter-cultural and all-ages event will feature a special performance by Gospel and R&B sensation Ayana McDonald. Pricing: General seating is $20.00
