Memorial Fund Launched in Wake of Former Mayor Menino's Death

Not long after it was announced that former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino had passed away Thursday morning, tommenino.org provided information regarding those who wish to send condolences and funds to his family.
Those who wish to send letters or cards to the Menino family, according to the website, can do so by mailing them to the following:

Meanwhile, those who wish to submit donations can do so by visiting the Thomas M. Menino Fund for Boston donation page. Donations received are meant to support programs Menino embraced in and around the city.

Other ways to offer condolences, according to city officials:
- City Hall will be open until 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30.
- Flowers and mementos may be left in City Hall, inside the main City Hall entrance (City Hall Plaza side).
- By Friday, Oct. 31, condolence books will be located in all branches of the Boston Public Library and the city’s community centers.
