Pedestrian Struck in South End
Avoid Mass Ave. between Albany and Washington Street Thursday afternoon.

Parts of Mass Ave. remains temporarily closed closed off in the South End, as Boston Police respond to a pedestrian reportedly struck by a car.
Initial reports indicated the injuries may be life-threatening. As of about 1:15 p.m., a police spokeswoman said the victim is in stable condition.
As of 1:15 p.m., Mass Ave. remains closed to traffic in the area around Washington and Albany Streets.
