South Enders: 'Anger. Shock. Disbelief' At Scene Unfolding in Boston Area
South End residents said they are completely in shock at today's unfolding events.

It's been a tense morning in Boston.
South End residents and Bostonians woke up to news that one of the marathon bombing suspects was killed in a firefight overnight on Thursday night and that a second suspect is still on the loose. Authorities believe the second suspect is at large in the Watertown area.
For those of us here in the South End, we're dealing with an order to stay at home with the doors locked, suspended T service, and closed businesses.

Residents took to Facebook and Twitter this morning to share what's going through their minds right now with the unfolding emergency in the area.
"This has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. To watch it unfold on the streets & TV is surreal," tweeted @bobbyciletti.

"Anger. Frustration. But I'm also curious to understand his story and what made him this way," tweeted @gregmclark.
But not everyone has completely lost hope.
"I'm happy to live in a neighborhood where the following just happened: Just got milk at Foodies (it is practically in my building) and it was nearly empty and the atmosphere tense until a man in his 60s announces in a loud voice, 'If he comes in here, I'll whup his ass.' Everyone laughed, tension broken," wrote Mark Krone on Facebook.
