Things to Know, Aug. 13: Pay What You Can Yoga
News you can use in the South End today: yoga, writing workshop, summer music series.

1. Clear Day: The National Weather Service is predicting a mostly clear day with highs in the 80s. The evening may cloud over and cool down to the mid 60s.
2. Taking Healthy Steps: Taking Steps encourages middle school-aged girls through the art of dance. Each year, nearly 200 girls learn how to use movement as a means of expression in order to better their physical, emotional and social well-being. The first session runs from August 13 to August 17. The cost is $250.
3. Pay-What-You-Can Yoga: is holding a pay-what-you-can yoga class today at 8 a.m. The $5 class is a mid-level Vinyasa and all levels are welcome.

4. August Writing Workshop Series: Join 826 Boston for a two week session of free writing work shops for all ages from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
5. Chorus pro Musica Summer Sings: Head down to the Old South Church to hear talks on great composers and performances. Tonight’s performance will be Bach, Jesu meine Fruede. Cost $8, air-conditioned and wheel chair accessible.
