• As Berkshire County's housing crisis continues to spiral, Stockbridge teams up with Construct to offer rent and mortgage support (wamc.org) — Stockbridge is launching a new rent and mortgage assistance program with Construct to help residents stay in their homes amid soaring housing costs and a shrinking year-round population. Funded by two $25,000 town grants, the pilot offers short-term support for otherwise stable homeowners and renters facing sudden crises, while also tying Stockbridge into a broader Southern Berkshire effort to prevent evictions and homelessness this winter.
