2 Teens Stabbed By Masked Person With Knife: Police

Police said they do not believe there is any danger to the public.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Two teens were stabbed overnight, according to Stoneham police.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. Sunday to Spring Street in Wakefield, where they found a Chevrolet Trax, police said. The vehicle had been stopped near an intersection in Stoneham when a person in a dark hoodie and a mask approached with a knife, according to police, who said that the driver of the Trax crossed into Wakefield before stopping.

The victims, both 18-year-old men, were taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, according to police.
