40 Percent Of Stoneham Residents At Least Partially Vaccinated
The town's positivity rate and average daily incidences per 100,000 dropped in the weekly Department of Public Health report.

STONEHAM, MA — More than 100 residents tested positive for the coronavirus in the 14 days leading up to Thursday's weekly state report.
The weekly numbers from the Department of Public Health showed a decrease in the positivity rate from 3.61 percent to 3.44 percent while the average daily incidences per 100,000 dropped from 35.9 to 33.7.
There were 105 residents who tested positive over the last 14 days, bringing the total to 2,289 since the start of the pandemic.

Nearly 9,000 residents have received at least one vaccination shot, according to separate numbers released Thursday. That means 40 percent of the town has been at least partially vaccinated.
