STONEHAM, MA – No one was injured when a car crashed into the side of a home in Stoneham Friday, officials said. Emergency crews responded to Summer Hill Street around 8:30 a.m. and found a Ford Edge SUV in the side wall of the home.

Investigators say the SUV went off the road, drove through multiple lawns and briefly became airborne before partially crashing through the foundation wall and coming to a stop. The driver and sole occupant of the car was uninjured, and there were no injuries to residents of the home.

The town building inspector determined the home is still habitable. The driver will be summonsed to court on motor vehicle-related charges, and police have requested that the driver's license be suspended.
