Driver To Face Charges Following Tuesday Stoneham I-93 Crash

A 22-year-old Boston woman and a 78-year-old Burlington man were both taken to the hospital after the crash.

STONEHAM, MA - A two-car crash on I-93 in Stoneham sent two people to the hospital on Tuesday morning, according to state police.

One of the drivers will now be charged with multiple motor vehicle violations in relation to the crash, state police said.

The crash took place around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the northbound lanes of I-93 near exit 28A.

A 22-year-old Boston woman and a 78-year-old Burlington man were both hospitalized for possible minor injuries, according to state police, after their cars collided.

The Boston woman will face charges including negligent operation, speeding and a marked lane violation, state police said.
