A road work update from the town of Stoneham:The MassDOT has announced that starting Monday at 6 p.m. through Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 6 a.m. the intersection of Main Street at North Street will receive final paving. Residents should expect delays overnight, drive slow and follow road signs through the work zone. Final markings of lanes, arrows and crosswalks will take place during the week of September 16th during the day. Residents should expect delays, drive slow and follow police detail instruction. All work is weather dependent and subject to change. Residents heading to Reading anytime this fall should also know that Main Street in Reading, starting at the Stoneham line, is scheduled to be repaved starting Sept. 8.
