Monday Essentials: Stoneham Senior Center to Host Cooking Demo

Here is a sampling of events, activities and meetings going on in Stoneham from July 22-26:
1. Atria Senior Living will be giving a cooking demonstration and food sampling at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Stoneham Senior Center, according to the senior center website.
2. Are you a senior in need of a haircut? If so, head to Stoneham Senior Center, as they will be shuttling a group of seniors to The Men's Room where they will be giving haircuts for $9 per person at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the senior center website. The senior center van will leave at 9:45 a.m., according to the site. Seniors can sign up at the front desk or by calling 781-438-1157.
3. The Stoneham Board of Appeals will be meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Town Hall Hearing Room, according to the town website.
4. The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce's annual Summer Concert Series rolls on this week, as Seabreeze will be performing at Italian Night from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Town Common, according to the chamber of commerce website.
5. StonehamBank will be closing at 5 p.m. on Monday "so that our employees can attend a mandatory training," according to the bank's Facebook page. "You can still access your accounts by using any one of our Allpoint ATMs here at the bank. And, you can also go online to www.stonehambank.com and pay bills, make transfers and check balances. Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure that our employees are the most knowledgeable bankers you know!" reads the Facebook page.
