Special Town Meeting Voted on Next Step for Weiss Farm

Stoneham Town Meeting held a Special Meeting on Tuesday, September 3 to discuss the development of the condominiums at Weiss Farm.

After heated discussion in a humid room in Town Hall, Town Meeting voted in favor of transferring from available funds or raising $250,000 to hire a legal team to review the construction plans for the 300 residential units at Weiss Farm.

Last month, the Corcoran Company penned a letter of intention to purchase the Weiss Farm and invest over $50 million into Stoneham.

The Selectmen will meet next Tuesday to outline the plans for the next step in this process.
