Stoneham Halloween Storefront Window Painting Set For Saturday

The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce is organizing the event as it move through a busy month of Halloween programming.

STONEHAM, MA — Stoneham will get an extra splash of color this weekend thanks to a planned Downtown Halloween Storefront Painting event by the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce.

The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 15 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Stoneham Square Business District.

Community members can register to paint a window with festive Halloween designs at an assigned participating Stoneham business. Organizers will provide artists with paint and supplies for their 18 inch by 24 inch merchant window.

While the event is set for Saturday, those who can’t make it during the 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. window can still sign up. Organizers will coordinate a supply pickup and assign a window to paint on another day, as noted in an event announcement through the Chamber of Commerce’s website.

A $15 registration fee will cover the cost of supplies and window cleaning after Halloween.

The storefront window program is not the only Halloween event set for this month in Stoneham.

The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce itself is planning at least two other events, with a Halloween Movie Night on the Common screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas on Oct. 21.

Stoneham’s annual Halloween Stroll will then return on Oct. 29.
