Now set for a new date, the Tree Lighting is scheduled to retain its key planned amenities this year, including visits with Santa Claus and a train ride on the Town Common via Stoneham Recreation.
The event will include other attractions ranging from craft opportunities to caroling with Stoneham Girl Scouts, as noted in a Chamber of Commerce announcement.
While the weather forecast delayed the outdoor portion of Tree Lighting festivities this weekend, Stoneham was still treated to a Winter Arts and Crafts Fair at Town Hall over the weekend, featuring more than 40 artists and crafters selling various goods.
