STONEHAM, MA — Stoneham has released its fall curbside leaf pickup schedule, planning options for four weekly leaf pickups beginning later this month.

Leaf collection will take place alongside weekly trash pickup on regularly scheduled pickup days in the following weeks:

  • Oct. 24 through Oct. 28
  • Oct. 31 through Nov. 4
  • Nov. 14 through Nov. 18
  • Nov. 28 through Dec. 2

Individuals utilizing Stoneham leaf pickup should place their leaves in paper bags or containers that can be easily dumped. No plastic bags are allowed. Bags/containers should be left curbside by 7 a.m. on a pickup day. Individuals should keep trash and recycling containers separate from their leaves.

The town noted in its leaf collection announcement last week that branches, brush and trees will not be picked up. Those should, instead, be brought to the Stevens Street Recycling Center in Stoneham.
