At 8:29 p.m. May 16, Stoneham police responded to Clearview Road to check on a person, according to a police log. Duane Soloman, 48, of 22 Clearview Road, Stoneham, was arrested and charged with taking secret video, photograph or surveillance.

1:48 p.m.: Police responded to Central Street on a report of vandalism, according to a police log. A report was taken.
4:47 p.m.: Police called to the intersection of Spring and Stevens Streets for a report of an accident, according to a police log. A report was taken.

4:56 p.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue for a report of a screen door that was ripped during a possible breaking and entering attempt, according to a police log. A report was taken.
At 9:01 p.m., police returned to the Montvale Avenue location for a report of a possible breaking and entering attempt, according to a police log. The caller reported an unknown person or people banging on the front and rear doors, and damage was done to another door, according to the log. The suspect(s) were gone upon arrival, according to the log.

3:33 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street on a report of male customer with a tire iron threatening to hit an employee, according to a police log. A summons was sought, according to the log.
5:33 p.m.: Police called to the area of Fallon Road and Park Street, according to a police log. State Police notified, according to police.
7:34 p.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue on a report of a car that crashed into a pole, according to a police log. The vehicle was towed from the scene, and no injuries reported. NSTAR was notified about the pole, according to the log. A summons was sought, the log adds.
7:57 p.m.: Police called to Famous Footwearon Main Street for a report of a shoplifter, according to a police log. The caller claimed a white woman in her 20s, with tattoos and wearing a light pink top, cutoff shorts and white sneakers, stole a pair of Sketchers sandals that were black with jewel-like decorations, according to the log. The suspect was seen getting into a tannish-green crossover SUV, with a man driving the vehicle, which was last seen heading north on Main Street from Redstone Shopping Center, according to the log. Reading police were notified, according to the log.
