Winfrey's Fudge & Chocolates Store Vandalized in Stoneham

At 9:01 a.m. May 11, Stoneham Police responded to Winfrey's Fudge & Chocolates on Main Street for a report of an attempted breaking and entering, according to a police log. A store manager reported that the glass front door was smashed upon arrival to work, according to the log. Nothing appeared to be stolen or out of place, according to the log. A report was taken.

Stoneham Woman Accused of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs

At 7:07 p.m. May 12, police were called to Alden Avenue to check on a motor vehicle in the area, according to a police log. The caller told police that a woman behind the wheel of a red Honda two-door vehicle was passed out, according to the log. The woman declined transport, according to the log. Denise LaRosa, 39, of 16 Rodgers Road, Stoneham, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with a revoked license and operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs. A report was taken.

May 11

12:32 p.m.: A man visited the police station to report that he was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot at BJ's Wholesale Club on Cedar Street on May 10, according to a police log. A report was taken.

1:50 p.m.: Police respond to the intersection of Spring and Stevens Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. A patient refused treatment, and a vehicle was towed from the scene, according to the log. A report was taken.

10:05 a.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Fallon Road and Park Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury, according to a police log. Three patients declined transport, according to the log. 

4:07 p.m.: Police called to Christine Avenue for a report of stolen checks, according to a police log. A summons was sought in the case, according to the log.

5:24 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of vandalism to a woman's vehicle, according to a police log. A report was taken.

The caller reported seeing a woman in a grey jeep hit a pole and continued on William, according to the log. Woburn police was notified, as was NSTAR to check on the pole, according to the log. Woburn police locate the suspect vehicle on Wood Street, according to the log. A report was taken.

4:31 p.m.: Police responded to the Redstone Shopping Center parking lot on a report of vehicle vandalism, according to a police log. A woman claims a skinny male yelled in her window and vandalized her vehicle before entering a store, according to the log. A report was taken.

6:44 p.m.: Police called to Richardson Road on a report of an attempted breaking and entering into a man's home, according to a police log. A report was taken.

8:16 p.m.: Police responded to Franklin Street for a report that a woman's medication was stolen, according to a police log. A report was taken.
