Stoneham Seeks New Member For Finance And Advisory Board

The Town Moderator is collecting letters of interest for a vacant seat on the board.

STONEHAM, MA — Stoneham is seeking an individual interested in serving on the town’s Finance And Advisory Board, officials announced on Wednesday of last week.

The 11-member board is tasked with reviewing town financial and capital matters to make recommendations and explain the impact of possible financial decisions to voters at Town Meeting.

It currently has one vacancy for a seat with a term ending in 2024, according to town listings.

Those interested in being considered for appointment for the position should contact Town Moderator Jeanne Craigie by email at jcraigie@stoneham-ma.gov.

Craigie will ultimately appoint an individual to fill the existing vacancy.
