Stoneham Town Cleanup Set For October

STONEHAM, MA — Stoneham community members will have a chance to help beautify their community next month at a planned town cleanup event.

The event is set for Oct. 15 beginning at 9 a.m. Participants should meet by the Stoneham Town Common gazebo to check in and pick up cleanup supplies.

There will be coffee and donuts available between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Cleanup participants should bring their own gloves if possible. The event is a family friendly event, with groups welcome, as noted in an event announcement.

The group Keep Stoneham Beautiful is organizing the cleanup as part of its efforts to promote a “clean, green and litter free environment."

Keep Stoneham Beautiful, in turn, is part of the larger Keep Massachusetts Beautiful organization.
