1. Cooler and windy. The sun's still shining, but the temps will drop compared to the last few days according to the National Weather Service. Mostly sunny today with a high near 41. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Tonight, clear with a low around 26. Breezy, with a west wind 13 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.

3. Stoneham resident supports National Adopt-a-Greyhound Month. April is National Adopt-a-Greyhound and Stoneham resident Melissa Cook is supporting the cause as a board member of nonprofit The Greyhound Project. Melissa and The Greyhound Project are trying to spread the word about the need to place Greyhounds into permanent and loving homes as a result of a struggling economy and closed racing tracks. 4. Story time for little ones at the library. Stop in at the Stoneham Public Library today at 10:30 a.m. for StoryTime. This event is for children ages 0-plus mixed ages, and it is perfect for families. Songs, stories and simple crafts for children to enjoy with an adult in the activity room. 5. Yoga for seniors. It's held Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center. This class is for mixed levels, and bring your own yoga mat.
