ZooLights Display Begins At Stone Zoo For 2022-2023 Season
The annual winter display opened Friday and will continue through Jan. 8.
STONEHAM, MA — The Stone Zoo in Stoneham shined a bit brighter beginning Friday night with the return of its ZooLights winter light display.
The program is scheduled to remain open through Jan. 8. Guests can book visits to ZooLights between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. each night.
ZooLights features thousands of lights laid around paths in the Stone Zoo’s 26-acre campus. This year’s program also includes a handful of large-scale animal lantern displays, according to an announcement from the Stone Zoo.

Wednesday ZooLights nights between Nov. 30 and Dec. 21 will include visits from Mrs. Claus between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
ZooLights will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Stone Zoo personnel are encouraging ZooLights guests to buy tickets to the display in advance this year through a new “Plan-Ahead Pricing” program. Under Plan-Ahead Pricing, the zoo is offering cheaper ZooLights tickets for dates booked further in advance compared to tickets purchase closer to a visit date.
